Members of the public, friends and families of the Benoni Indians Baseball Club are invited to indulge in a classic cinematic experience with a modern twist during the drive-in event at Northerns on March 1 and 2.

“The club will transform into a haven of entertainment, welcoming movie enthusiasts of all ages to relish in the nostalgia of drive-in cinemas,” said organiser Lori Wilmot.

According to Wilmot, guests will have the opportunity to cosy up in the comfort of their vehicles while enjoying a line-up of stellar films on the big screen.

“On Friday the club will be sharing their passion for baseball by airing The Sandlot (1993) and Major League (1989) for a baseball-themed night. Saturday night will be a family night with The Croods (2013) and Ghostbusters (1984) on the menu. This line-up is subject to change.”

The event promises an array of delectable food and beverage options to tantalise your taste buds. Whether you’re craving traditional movie snacks or gourmet treats, the selection will satisfy every palate.

“We are thrilled to host this drive-in,” said Shaun Deyzel, president of the Benoni Indians.

“It’s an opportunity for the community to come together, enjoy some great movies, and create lasting memories with friends and family in a truly unique setting.”
