Four serious accidents reported on city’s roads
A pedestrian died on the scene after being hit by a vehicle.
Last week members of the EMPD attended the following accident scenes:
May 17
At about 12:47, a female driver died after failing to stop at a stop sign and collided into a tree at Honiball and Miles Sharp Rynfield, Benoni.
At about 22:25, a male pedestrian died after crossing the road unsafely at Voortrekker and Prince George streets, Brakpan.
At about 22:31, a male driver died after colliding with a truck at Paul Kruger and Orpiment Road, Springs.
May 19
At about 18:49, a male passenger died after their vehicle lost control and collided into a tree at Fish Eagle and Casseldale Daggafontein, Springs.
