Memorial service of veteran actress Connie Chiume will be held in Daveyton tomorrow
The celebration service of Chiume will start at 12:00 at Oasis of Life Family Church in Daveyton.
The memorial service and funeral of former Benoni resident and well-known actress Connie Chiume will be at Oasis of Life Family Church in Daveyton on August 13 and 15, respectively.
Chiume died on August 6 at Garden City Hospital in Johannesburg after a period of illness.
She previously lived in Farrarmere with her family before moving to Kempton Park.
The internationally acclaimed actress has featured in notable films and television shows such as Black Panther, Yizo Yizo 2, Gomora, Rhythm City, Black Is King, Blessers and Zone 14.
The celebration service will start at 12:00.
The City of Ekurhuleni, during its council meeting on August 12, has paid tribute to the renowned actress who was a proud Ekurhuleni resident.
