The race attracted a sold out crowd of 2 300 runners and walkers of all fitness levels who were dressed in colourful costumes and sported headlamps as they participated in the 5km and 10km Benoni Northerns Night Race at Benoni Northerns Sports Club on October 23.
Johann Roelofse and Zante Taljaard won the men’s and women’s 10km while Lubabalo Xoza and Shekinah Thompson clinched victory in the men’s and women’s 5km race.
