Oldies spread Christmas spirit

Young and old got into the festive swing while enjoying a day out in the sun.

Groovy golden oldies played in the background when the residents of Eddy House tended to their stalls during the home’s Christmas Mini Market on November 2.

From juicy bacon rolls to refreshingly cool ice creams, the oldies received community members with gusto and delight.

According to manager Liza Oosthuizen, this was the first market at the home in many years.

“The residents baked, prepped and priced various goods to sell on the day. I think the day was a great success, with many younger community members supporting the market and spending time with our residents,” she said.
