Matric learner awarded Dux trophy

Shriddhi Maharaj, a matric learner at Benoni High School, is this year’s Dux student. Maharaj received her full academic colours for English, mathematics, life sciences, economics, business studies and accounting. While completing the year with an average of 89.6%, she also excelled in the De Beers Olympiad throughout her high school career and served as the captain for the school’s Angels for Animals.
