Security guard, shop manager fatally shot
Five empty cartridges were found at the scene.
The police launched a manhunt following the recent fatal shooting of a 29-year-old security guard and his employer, a 27-year-old Pakistani shop manager.
Both were killed at their workplace, One Stop Hardware.
According to Putfontein SAPS spokesperson Sergeant Raider Ubisi, when police arrived at the scene, the officers found the lifeless bodies of the two men on the ground in a pool of blood.
Paramedics declared them dead at the scene.
Ubisi said officers found five empty cartridges on the scene. The assailants allegedly stole the security guard’s 9mm pistol.
