Actonville project benefits community
“A single act does make a difference; it creates a ripple effect that can be felt many miles away.”

Community groups and local outreach projects joined forces to deliver gifts of love and care to the underprivileged Actonville community members.
With the help of volunteers, donated clothing, fresh fruits and veggies, non-perishables and thoughtfully packed food hampers were handed to the beneficiaries on March 29 at the Actonville Primary School.

“The Community Project of Actonville alleviates some daily challenges families in the area, providing them with much-needed relief and hope,” said David Chetty, a member of the Benoni Tamil School Board and East Rand Food For Life Africa.

“Spearheaded by Yahara Charity, the event organisers brought givers and receivers together and united a community through care and compassion.”
According to those involved, the event showcased the commitment of individuals and organisations to making a positive impact in the lives of others.
