CAXTON SCHOOLS | Exciting match-ups on final day of St Dunstan’s Easter Sports Festival
The final day will see bumper fixtures on the rugby fields, hockey astros and netball courts.

Six rugby teams remain unbeaten going into the final day of the St Dunstan’s College Easter Festival today (April 21).
Benoni High School (BHS), Hillcrest High, Wise Owl and Hellenic go into the last round of the rugby programme with clean records after winning all their matches, while Lomagundi and Helpmekaar Barbarians have won one and drew, respectively.
A total of 10 matches will be played today, with kick-offs at 07:30, 08:50, 10:10, 11:30 and 12:50 on the A and B fields.

The titanic clash between BHS and Hellenic starts the programme at 07:30 on the A field, while St Charles College plays Lomagundi at the same on the B field.
Hosts, St Dunstan’s will look to win their first match when they take on the winless St David’s Marist Inanda seconds at 11:30 while Springs Boys vs Helpmekaar and St George’s vs CBC Boksburg close-off the programme at 12:50.
Netball
St Dunstan’s comfortably leads the standings on 19 points and look set to improve on their third position from last year.
They have easy fixtures against St Francis College (08:00), Unity Secondary (08:45) and end their campaign with the Benoni High seconds at 11:00.

Reddam House is two points adrift on 17 while Ashton Ballito occupies the third spot, a point behind.
Reddam take on Hillcrest High at 08:45, Ashton at 10:15 and Unity Secondary at 11:45, while Ashton has appointments with Jeppe at 08:45 and Hillcrest at 11:00, in between their match with Reddam.
Hockey
Undefeated St Dominic’s Catholic School for girls will look to defend the bragging rights when they take on Hellenic Academy, also undefeated, at 11:40.
Saints are favourites going into this encounter. They have a superior goal difference, having scored 33 and only conceding once, while Hellenic has scored 21 and conceded twice.

Other fixtures will see hosts St Dunstan’s play Lomagundi at 07:00 while Goudveld take on Steyn City for the third-place play-off.
The undefeated St Dunstan’s play CBC Zimbabwe for the bragging rights match, while Lomagundi take on Reddam House Waterfall for the third-place play-off.
St Dunstan’s are the overwhelming favourites to win the boys’ section but they might find the going tough against a CBC Zim side that has demonstrated that they didn’t come to SA to play.
