Dads! Look at these ‘paw-some’ boys waiting to play catch and learn new tricks.

Warm their hearts and bellies
With the temperatures set to drop even more, why not whip up a batch of hearty soup to warm your wet-nosed pal’s heart.

The Animal Guardians’ (TAG) Katie O’Neill has these lip-smacking tips:

• Build the foundation of canine soup on quality chicken broth.

• Ditch the onions, salt and spices and rather opt for leeks, carrot, pumpkin and butternut

• When using marrow ensure that all bones as well as bone fragments are removed before dishing up

• Chunky veggies will add to the flavour and provide your pooch with immune system boosting goodness.

Don’t forget about the TAG residents
As an animal welfare organisation TAG relies on your support to keep their food supplies stocked to the brim.

Animal jerseys and blankets are also in demand.

Pop in, say hello or have your donations delivered.

Zeus, a distinguished Cane Corso, has moves so good, it could light up the dance floor. With his dashing good looks and feather-footed approach, this two-year-old puts the funk in the funky chicken dance.

TAG is home to lovable pups and purring kitties looking to find their fur-ever homes.
