Hopping with joy, these furry friends at The Animal Guardians (TAG) will melt your heart faster than butter melts on a hot cross bun.
Hundreds of pets sterilised
Since the beginning of the year, TAG in association with The Robin House and veterinarian Dr Leigh Kymdell-Nell have successfully sterilised 122 dogs.
The sterilisations from part of the animal welfare organisation’s monthly outreach programme aimed at preventing unplanned litters which may lead to animal abandonment or abuse.
Spoil you pup with tasty Easter biscuits
You’ll need:
• 130g pureed butternut or pumpkin• 1 egg
• 30g peanut butter
• 175g whole-wheat flour
• 1/2 tsp cinnamon
Optional topping:
• 50g cream cheese or Greek yoghurt
• 30g raspberries
Method:
• Preheat the oven to 180°C
• Mix the pureed pumpkin or butternut, egg and peanut butter in a large bowl.
• Stir in the flour and cinnamon until a dough is formed
• Roll the dough out until it is approximately 6mm thick
• Use a cookie cutter to shape the dough into interesting shapes
• Bake on a greased baking tray for 20 minutes until golden brown
• Leave to cool before decorating
