The search was conducted in an effort to create a safer learning environment.
Learners at a local high school are in hot water following an EMPD raid on September 9.
The EMPD’s K9 Unit conducted searches of classrooms, learners, and their bags in an effort to combat illegal activities at schools.

Three toy guns, 10 knives, seven bags of dagga, three knuckle dusters, five boxes of matches, nine lighters, and 221 vapes were seized during the operation.
Searches at schools will continue in an attempt to create a safe learning environment for all.
