SPCA’s charity shop desperate to fill shelves

Remember, one man’s trash is another man’s treasure!

Tired of clutter? Do you need to refresh your home with a good spring clean? Are there many things you will never use again lying about?

Remember, one man’s trash is another man’s treasure, and in this case, the treasure seekers are the staff of the Benoni SPCA’s charity shop.

Their shelves are running on empty, so they urgently appeal for donations.

The charity shop provides vital income for the SPCA – it funds salaries, fuel and much more, so the staff can be where they are most needed to protect and rescue animals from harm.

Also, the festive season is upon us, and for the SPCA, this means an influx of abandoned and surrendered animals.

Every animal in their kennels requires food and care, which amounts to a hefty cost.

Your donation of good secondhand items to their charity shop for resale helps ease the burden.

So, bring your bric-a-brac, furniture, clothing, linen, ornaments, toys, books, shoes, bags, carpets, curtains, appliances, paintings, cameras, computers and whatever else is cluttering your home.

Find them on Klein Street, Lakefield.

Call Monique on 061 023 0780 or Bev on 072 352 4924 for more information on how you can support the SPCA through their charity shop.
