Laughter, gifts and festive cheer filled the Mokoka Library in Daveyton recently as Sekusile Ekhaya Labantwana hosted its annual Christmas party for 100 Katlego Primary School learners.
Dressed in white T-shirts and blue jeans, the children were the VIPs of the day. They were seated at beautifully decorated tables and treated to a fun-packed programme designed to make the occasion memorable.
Thanks to the generosity of the Santa Shoebox Project, each child received a gift box that included a brand-new clothing item, a toy and a stationery pack.

The Kol Foundation contributed party packs and tea mugs, and also provided breakfast and lunch for the children. In addition, the Lisaboka Foundation supplied food for the attending stakeholders and donors, while Kempton Park-based Multotec made a monetary donation towards the event.
Operational manager Ira Ndebele expressed heartfelt gratitude to all the donors, saying their support ensured that the celebration was a success and that the children enjoyed a festive experience they won’t soon forget.
