Fairy tale characters leap off the pages to meet young readers

The excursion was a page-turning event.

On January 23, Benoni Library came alive with fairytale characters jumping off the shelves to meet little readers.

As part of Palm Campus’ Book Worm Club, 16 learners from Grade R to 3, formed part of the school’s annual library excursion to foster their love for reading while having the rare opportunity to meet some of the books’ best loved characters.

From Moana to the Big Bad Wolf, the education centre’s matrics dressed in their whimsical best to read to their younger peers, igniting a passion to read with comprehension while letting their imaginations take flight.
