CORRECTION: Here’s how to report faulty traffic lights

"We regret supplying the public with an inactive email address, reports can be sent to trafficsignals@gauteng.gov.za."

Following an article in the Benoni City Times dated February 20, calling for the public to report faulty traffic lights on provincial roads, it has come to our attention that the email address supplied to the newspaper was incorrect.

The Gauteng Department of Roads and Transport remains committed to intensifying its efforts to repair non-functioning traffic lights and apologises for the supplying the publication with an inactive email address.

Report affected intersections to trafficsignals@gauteng.gov.za or download the PotholeFix app.

Reports of outages will assist authorities to prioritise repairs and maintenance promptly.

Note that only reports affecting roads that fall under the provincial government’s jurisdiction will be tended to.
