Help police identify murdered woman found in Lindelani

A case of murder is currently under investigation.

The head of the Benoni SAPS detectives branch, Lieutenant Colonel Maphuta, needs assistance from the Lindelani community to identify a female murder victim.

The victim’s mutilated body was discovered in the open veld behind Modderbee Correctional Services on June 11.

The unidentified woman, aged between 34 and 36 years, suffered multiple stab wounds to the chest.

She was wearing brown pants, a brown-and-red jersey, a grey jacket, and white shoes.

No missing person from the area has been reported to the police.
