The Probus meeting will take place at Benoni Northerns Cricket Club, Brodigan Ave, at 9:00 for 9:30. The invited speaker is Laurence Newman. He has numerous subjects that he has prepared talks on, ranging from Peru to Ethiopia and he has travelled much of the world. He will be speaking about the subject we chose, “The Karoo”.

The 15th annual Ekurhuleni LGBTI pride 2022 will be hosted from 10:00 to 18:00 at Rakele Park, Central, Wattville.
September 13 (second Tuesday of each month)
The popular group known as the U3A an international group which caters to retired people seeking company and entertainment will host their first meeting since it’s Covid break. They meet at Methodist church in Aerodrome Road, Northmead every second Tuesday of each month, at 10 am. The fee is R50 per year, and R10 for tea. Dr Ali Bacher, well-known ex-cricket captain and for many years cricket administrator is the speaker for the event. Everyone is welcome.
