Resident sets his eyes on Mr India South Africa title

Mr India South Africa aims to motivate excellence in young men

Western Extension resident Dyllon Rehman is oozing with joy after having been selected as a finalist for Mr India South Africa contest.

The 24-year-old, who is hoping to win the title, will compete among other young men at a prestigious event on December 11 at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Umhlanga, Durban.

Mr India South Africa aims to motivate excellence in young men and to drive young leaders to become global ambassadors.

“A friend suggested that I enter the contest. After doing my research I found that it was the perfect platform to get involved with communities to assist where there is a need.

“It is also a great platform to make people aware of the challenges that society is facing. Mr India South Africa is not a beauty competition but an opportunity to grow the beauty of the mind. The beauty of the physic fades but the beauty of the mind grows,” said Rehman.
