Robbers target two local clinics

Two local clinics in Benoni have recently been targeted by robbers.
Chief Albert Luthuli Clinic and Crystal Park Clinic were broken into on January 18 and 23, respectively.
Computers, televisions, fridges and other equipment was stolen after the suspects jumped the fence to gain entry to the premises and forced their way into the clinic buildings.
According to Crystal Park SAPS spokesperson, Sergeant Lerato Mopeli, in both incidents, the security guards were held at gunpoint while suspects looted the clinics.
Police say the robbers form part of a gang of five men.
Two cases of business robbery have been opened at the Crystal Park SAPS and they are appealing for information about the suspects and the stolen equipment.
