Lesiba Secondary School recognised by Premier and Education MEC

The school achieved a sterling 98% pass rate for the 2022 matric year.

Lesiba Secondary School staff and educators expressed excitement following their recognition at an awards ceremony held at Soshanguve East Secondary School in Pretoria last month.

The school was selected among the province’s top performing schools, which were honoured by the Gauteng Education MEC Matome Chiloane and Gauteng Premier Panyaza Lesufi.

The school scooped second place in the top performing township schools category. while in the category of top three schools in the SSIP programme they took third place.

Etwatwa’s BB Mnyathaza Secondary School scooped second place in the category of most improved school in the SSIP programme.

Top performing learners from various schools in Gauteng were also rewarded with bursaries from the Gauteng City Region Academy.
