It’s fine-free week at the library
No fines will be issued for the late return of books and material during this time.
Patrons of the Ekurhuleni metro’s libraries can return overdue material without facing any penalties, until April 1.
“Library users who may have missed the return dates of books and other material are invited to drop the items off at their nearest library, no questions asked,” said Zweli Dlamini, spokesperson for the metro.
“However, if you wish to hold on to books for a longer period it is advised to physically visit a library for the material to be re-issued for record purposes. Lending periods provided will ensure that the return date is not exceeded.”
