ATM bombed in Daveyton

A case of business robbery and ATM bombing has been opened at Daveyton SAPS.

The Daveyton police are looking for suspects who bombed an ATM at a Shell filling station in Heald Street, Daveyton, on April 17.

An undisclosed amount of cash was taken during the robbery.

According to Daveyton SAPS spokesperson Constable Ntando Ngomane, an employee who was on duty said he heard explosions and when he went to check, discovered that the ATM had been blown up.

A case of business robbery and ATM bombing has been opened at Daveyton SAPS.

This bombing follows that of an ATM at a Sasol filling station on Rangeview Road, Mackenzie Park, three weeks ago.

According to police, 10 suspects pounced on unsuspecting petrol attendants and shop employees during load-shedding.
