Country Life Retirement Village hosted an afternoon high tea for its residents on August 30.
Dressed in opulent gowns and over-the-top stunning hats, attendees enjoyed an afternoon of laughter while indulging in cakes and other light refreshments.
The grand affair also saw residents being entertained by a magician and talented balloon artist.
Ready to indulge in yummy treats during the high tea at Country Life Retirement Village is Ingrid Blignaut whose look was inspired by Princess Catherine.
Social committee member Shirley Lawrence said the tea party was organised to celebrate life and for residents to be joyful as we approach the spring season.
“Everyone received a gift and goodie bag consisting of biscuits, pocket tissues, a pen, juice, chocolate, a key holder and a notebook. These items were donated by Sonja Smith Elite Funeral Group and La Vie Care, respectively,” said Lawrence.
