Lovers of ballet and chamber music are in for a treat when the two art forms converge on stage for the first time in Benoni this weekend.
Get your tickets now, as they are selling fast for Ballet Surprise, presented by the East Rand Youth Orchestra and QuayWake Ballet.
This spectacular performance will be in the EJ Butler Hall at St Dunstan’s College at 14:30 on November 9.
Pienaar Fourie will conduct the East Rand Youth Orchestra.
“With so much musical and dance talent in Benoni, we can put together over an hour of extracts of beautiful music and dancing on one stage.
“Ballet with a live orchestra has never taken place in Benoni, and this is your chance to enjoy this special art form, done by young masters of their art,” he said, adding that parents must bring their children to enjoy this spectacle.
