Man’s body found in plastic bag

Investigations led police to the man’s residence in Actonville, where they found blood at the scene.

A man and woman have been arrested following the discovery of the body of the woman’s landlord in a black plastic bag on the corner of Bhoja and Munshi streets in Actonville on December 23.

Subsequent investigations led police to the deceased’s residence in Actonville, where they found blood.

According to Actonville police spokesperson Constable Lwazi Dladla, the body of the man, believed to be in his 30s, was discovered by municipal employees who were cleaning the road.

“The body had wounds to the upper body and was wrapped in a bedsheet inside the plastic bag,” said Dladla.

Both suspects have been charged with murder and the motive behind the crime is still unknown.
