This is an open letter to the poor, misguided people who, for reasons only known to themselves, decided to deface private and council property with black paint on the morning of July 13.
The obliteration of essential traffic signs could have easily caused a nasty accident, but, thanks to the quick reaction of residents who all jumped in to clean up, this was averted.
As to the racist and sexist slogans written on certain walls, it may interest you to know that these people are home owners and respected members of the community.
This sort of behaviour will not be tolerated and I can assure you, you are definitely not welcome in our neighbourhood.
Trusting you are actually able to read, you will think twice before being tempted to commit such a disgusting act again.
