Recently certain Farrarmere residents had the unpleasant experience of what it is like to receive poor service once again from our beloved Metro.
At about 8am on a Sunday morning a main water feed pipe burst in Kei Road.
It took the Metro nearly 27 hours to repair this pipe.
What is disturbing is that the couplings needed to fix this pipe were not readily available.
They apparently are not kept in stock.
Due to the age of the pipe the Metro should have contingency plans to carry stock.
The workers that were sent to repair the pipe came with very little tooling and were not prepared for this kind of major water leak.
What are we paying rates and taxes for?
