Poor water pressure in Mackenzie Park

Zak writes by email:

I concur with the four readers who complained about the water pressure in Benoni.

I live in Mackenzie Park and also experience low pressure at peak times as well as weekends.

Baths are impossible and showers are likened to being urinated on.

I have had to install smaller shower heads in my three showers and have a scheduled routine worked out so that my family of four can get ready for school and work timeously.

I have even replaced my galvanised pipes to eliminate the constriction issues inside pipes caused by calcification.

This too has not helped.

It takes forever for the cistern to fill up as well, there too, I have to devise a schedule to use the loo.

This is crazy and rate-payers do not deserve such poor service from our municipality.

Maybe we should go to the municipal offices and give the mayor a golden shower.

This mature and patient civilised approach is getting us nowhere.
