Too lazy for their own good

My pet hate is inconsiderate, able-bodied people parking in the disabled parking zone.

On Saturday, March 29, just before 3pm, I arrived to do some shopping at The Falls Spar.

As I was walking towards the centre, I noticed a commotion around the disabled parking bay, where a white SUV had not only used the disabled parking, but had parked so badly that even the unoccupied parking could not be used.

Standing alongside the SUV was a lady, screaming at another lady, who had obviously taken her on for parking in the disabled parking zone.

The best I can say is that the language was creative, colourful, and would have made the most seasoned swearer blush. As I walked past, I said: “She is right you know”.

This lady then turned her full anger toward me, calling me an “effing A-hole” and telling me to mind my own business, at which I requested the “nice” lady to kindly “shut up”.

I specifically refrained from lowering myself to her level of language.

An older gentleman then approached me aggressively, and told me not to speak to his wife in that manner.

The irony is amazing.

Clearly, obviously in the wrong, and clearly too lazy for their own good, as there were normal parking bays open less than 50m away, these two are oblivious to their own unacceptable behaviour and filthy, disgusting language.

It is unfortunate that people like this can get away with being complete idiots themselves, with very little consequence.

To be aggressive and obnoxious when you are picked out for a wrong doing just shows a poor upbringing, and a lack of empathy and respect for your fellow mankind.

I have noticed that more and more people are starting to take people on for this act, and a big heads up to all those fighting to stop this practice.

I really feel sorry for you two, but will not keep quiet when I see you.
