What a lucky piggy indeed

Thankfully, Penni the piggy has been found and returned to her loving surrogate parents, who were obviously delighted.

Now what about all those other lost pets, like Boetie the brak, Clawie the cat, Festus the parrot and Grumpy the cockatiel?

These lost creatures deserve to be given front page exposure, just like Penni the pig.

Penni is, of course, a very lucky girl, because she could have ended up on somebody’s dinner plate.

I also wonder if Penni has her own bedroom and suitable bedding?

What a lucky piggy indeed.

Of course I am joking, and it is wonderful to have a community newspaper like the BCT, who care enough to regularly highlight the plight of the animals who live among us.
