SAPS have you given Const Mantasha an award yet?

I was reading an article in your May 2 edition, on page 14, and I was delighted to read yet another story of bravery, particularly involving Const Mantsha, of the Benoni SAPS.

My wife and I remembered that, in 2011, the same constable and his partner acted with swift and award-winning efficiency and service delivery to set our hearts at peace.

I live in The Stewards, Brand Street, and I don’t remember this hero being publicly acknowledged.

Maybe I missed it, but no harm in acknowledging his type.

Please do something to encourage him to do more and influence others, where a mere salary often invites temptation to corruption.
