Good service deserves recognition

I needed to call the Ekurhuleni Call Centre when I recently reported a water leak in Bayley Street, Farrarmere.

I welcomed the chance to test-drive the new state-of-the-art call-centre I had read about in the Benoni City Times.

Well, it was a pleasure!

My call was taken quickly; the operator was friendly and polite and, within two days (max), the leak had been repaired.

This is not the first time I have experienced good service from the metro.

I urge all Benonians not to gripe about potholes, missing storm water drain covers, water leaks, etc., but rather to get on the phone to the relevant department, or contact your ward councillor.
