Peace disturbance on Uys Street

'You have been warned!'

“Peace Lover” writes:

I hope the selfish, irresponsible man on his noisy motorcycle who rides up and down Uys Street every day, including public holidays and Sundays, reads the Benoni City Times dated January 11 regarding the letter ‘about disturbing the peace’!

If he is caught by the authorities he would have quite a few fines to pay.

Never mind the speeding, but what about the induced backfiring?

How do residents, especially in that area, tolerate this ongoing menace?

I have reason to believe he comes from Hull Road then turns into Uys Street, sometimes on the pavement.

Residents coming out of their driveways should be aware.

He rides all day and even does stunt riding or ‘motor cross’ on public roads.

What is he doing?

The area in question is where Lessing and Uys streets meet, then he proceeds to the west on the plots and up to Vlei Street.

Does he not work?

What a waste of time and fuel.

The police will have a field day lying in wait.
