Peter Knottenbelt writes:
It was with surprise that on the morning of January 21, we saw the municipal truck on our corner on 3rd Street, Northmead, fixing up our potholes.
We approached Sibongile, Eric and Joseph who politely engaged with us and told us they were repairing the potholes.
This activity was as a result of a request made by me on January 4 to the Ekurhuleni metro.
We continuously expect negative results, but this was a pleasant surprise! This bodes well for the future.
