Another draw for Northerns
It was a similar story to the week before for Benoni Northerns FC’s first XI away from home against Pro Solutions Panorama on Saturday, September 14 in the ELFA Super League Seniors Division One.
The match ended in a 1-1 draw.
According to Northerns’ first team coach, Flavio Mariuzzi, the outcome of the match was almost an exact replica of the1-1 draw with Rush Ruimsig FC on Saturday, September 7.
“We went 1-0 down relatively early again and had to fight hard to get an equaliser,” he said.
Northerns again found the equaliser in the dying moments of the match through a header from Skyler van der Berg.
Mariuzzi said that it has been a long season and that the team is making do with the players that they have available.
“I am happy with a positive result away from home,” he added.
