Terrific tennis in Benoni
Benoni Lake Tennis Club hosted the Daveyton Tennis Y-Tex Spring Tournament from Friday, September 6 to Sunday, September 8.
The event is a Tennis South Africa sanctioned event and saw a number of the region’s top young tennis players turn out for the competition.
Some players from as far as Mozambique competed in the tournament.
Benoni resident Kevin Taylor won the main event, the men’s single final over Feliciano Santos from Mozambique and capped off a successful final day with a doubles victory with partner Neal Frazer Redfern.
