Lace up your running shoes
One of Benoni’s most popular annual night races, the Rowlin National Brokers Night Race, hosted by Benoni Northerns Athletics Club, is just around the corner and prospective participants are encouraged to note the November 6 date.
Last year’s event attracted hundreds of road warriors and this year’s event promises to be an even more entertaining evening run.
There are three events that runners can enter: the 5km fun run, the 10km run or the 15km run.
The race is run in accordance with the rules of Athletics South Africa (ASA) and Central Gauteng Athletics (CGA).
Entries are taken at the start of the race, from 5pm, while online entries can be completed at www.enteronline.co.za.
Online entries close on October 29.
Medals will be available to all 15km and 10km finishers.
The minimum age for competitors on the day of the race is 15 years for the 15km and 10km races.
