Club champions conquer the courts

Northmead Tennis Club held their club championships on Saturday, March 15, and Sunday, March 16.

Kristin Westerhof claimed victory in the women’s singles finals of Northmead Tennis Club’s club championships. Westerhof and her doubles partner Henko Blaauw were also the mixed doubles winners.

Northmead’s kings and queens of the court were decided on the Sunday, with various finals played.

The final results from the championships are:

Men’s singles winner: Henko Blaauw.
Women’s singles winner: Kristin Westerhof.
Men’s doubles winners: Neal Redfern and Mark Gartelle.
Women’s doubles winners: Karin Barker and Penny Navias.
Mixed doubles winners: Henko Blaauw and Kristin Westerhof.
u-21 Men’s singles winner: George Nichas.
u-21 Women’s singles winner: Jaime-Lee Gancho.
Most improved player: Ashlee Andrew.
