U-14s storm to victory in Port Elizabeth
The u-14 Eastern Gauteng boys’ Action Cricket team recently took part in the Indoor National Tournament held at Hunters Retreat Indoor Sports Arena in Port Elizabeth from April 9 to April 16.
The boys won 12 out of 12 games to win the tournament.
Six of the players were selected for the u-14 national squad with another selected as a reserve.
Two players made the Diamonds’ development side while Brandon Haynes was the u-14 bowler of the tournament.
Their coach Kurtis Thomson was appointed national u-14 coach for 2017 and 2018.
