Angling association’s members reel in awards
The Benoni Angling Association held their annual prize-giving on September 9 at B-Sure Private School in Northmead.
The following members were congratulated for winning their divisions.
They are:
• Juniors: Shiniqua Heaton, Leonardo Coetzee and Tinus Smit.
• Women: Brenda Rhynes, Bridgette von Abo and Marina Smuts.
• Seniors: Frans Visagie, Steven Rhynes and Kobie Smidt.
• Masters: Louis van Heerden, Coen Human and Jack Ford.
The association has their next competition on October 7 at Voges at the Vaal Dam.
This will be a weekend competition starting at 7am on the Saturday and ending on the Sunday at 12 noon.
The club is always seeking new members to join them.
