Amy Hurly, of St Columba’s School, became the South African Cross Country champion by winning the girls’ u-9 event in a nail-biting finish on September 9 in Potchefstroom. “Amy has had a fantastic season and proved to be unbeatable this year,” the school said in a statement.
Nkosiyabo-Zulu Mciwa qualified to run at the Greater Benoni held at Brandwag recently. He finished in the top 25.
