Wet outfield forces draw in clash of the rivals
Not a single ball was delivered in the Eastern Premier League clash between old rivals Benoni Northerns Cricket Club (BNCC) and Kempton Park Cricket Club at the latter’s Barnard Stadium home ground on February 11.

Both teams were forced to share the spoils of a rain draw when the match was called off due to a wet outfield.
BNCC remain in second place on the table behind Alberton.
BNCC is also the only unbeaten team in the league, but find themselves four points behind Alberton (who were beaten by BNCC in October, last year) as a result of three rain draws as compared to the Alberton’s one.
