Conor McGregor is looking in great shape ahead of proposed Manny Pacquiao fight

Conor McGregor has been begun preparations for his potential crossover fight with Manny Pacquiao in the Middle East.

Conor ‘The Notorious’ McGregor had supposedly retired from fighting this summer following his impressive victory at UFC 246 over Donald Cerrone.

However, according to McGregor’s mixed martial arts coach, John Kavanagh, a deal has been struck.

McGregor is said to take on Manny ‘Pac-Man’ Pacquiao from the Philippines next year.

Senator Manny Pacquiao will be fighting UFC superstar Conor McGregor next year.

Speaking to Boxing Productions TV, Kavanagh said:

“I believe both boxers have agreed fundamentally. Behind the scenes there are a lot of terms and conditions and legal terms, but I believe it will happen.

“I think it might be early next year but the wheels are in motion and it looks like I’ll be coaching boxing again.”

Pac-Man has also confirmed this fight will go ahead, with a statement from his office saying:

“For the sake of all the Filipino Covid-19 victims, senator Manny Pacquiao will be fighting UFC superstar Conor McGregor next year.
