Chosen for Easterns, grinning with pride
The schedules have not been released by CSA yet.
Rynfield resident Madison Landsman, now 17, took part in the Easterns trials that took place on August 7 and 8.
She was then selected for the senior Easterns ladies team and the u-19 Easterns Ladies High-Performance Team.
The schedules have not been released by CSA yet.
“I am very grateful, honoured and proud to be selected again this year,” said Landsman.
“I have been training very hard during the offseason and can’t wait to get back into action on the field.
“Because we won the second tier ladies league last year and promotion into the top six league this season is going to be a challenge that I look forward to.
“My goal for this season is to help my team make sure that we now stay in the top league and I am super excited to be playing against the best ladies in the country.
“I can’t wait to play in some of my favourite stadiums in the world, including the very special Newlands in Cape Town and Wanderers in Johannesburg.”
