Reward offered for missing pig

A 10-month-old pot-belly pig went missing from her Wilge Road (Farrarmere) home yesterday, April 21.

Her owner, Carly Burnett, said the black pig, named Penni, is about the size of a Jack Russell dog.

The estimated time she went missing was around 3pm.

She suspected her pet must have escaped from their home due to the gate that was not closed properly, because they keep the pig in a secure area.

Burnett drove around the area in search of her missing pig, but found no joy as yet.

“All I would like is for her to come home,” said Burnett.

She was informed of a pig that matched Penni’s description that was spotted with two men, a woman and a child in a white vehicle on Milton Street, in Farrarmere.

The missing animal has been reported to the Benoni SPCA, but has not yet been spotted by them either.

A large reward is promised to the person who secures Penni’s safe return.
