Estetica glamorises hair
Estetica Hair and Beauty Salon, which is 20 years old this year, recently demonstrated on two models the magic the stylists can perform with hair.
Their first model for the day was Taryn Cornelius, who was dolled up by stylist Willow Dreyer.
Dreyer transformed her model’s hair, which was a natural dark blonde prior to the make-over, to a flattering light blonde.
Her hair was pre-lightened, using Goldwell lifting powder in foils.
Dreyer then toned her hair, using the same product’s colourance add colour.
Another model, Candice Hoffland, had her look enhanced by stylist Melissa Pietroiusti, from a neutral dark brown to a stylish and glossy dark brown.
Pietroiusti pre-lightened her model’s hair in slices, also using Goldwell lifting powder.
Two contrasting shades were made with an Elumen product.
Both models had their hair trimmed into fabulous styles and blow waved for the finishing touch, and looked like a million bucks once their make-overs were completed.
These are among the many styles that can be accomplished by staff at Estetica, which is situated at 193 Elston Avenue, in Western Extension.TB
