Ekurhuleni technicians are investigating reports of water interruptions in Brentwood Park after replacing a water valve on the main line feeding the area with water.
Themba Gadebe, Ekurhuleni spokesperson, said repairs to the line were completed just before 6pm, yesterday.
The replacement of the valve was set to end the water interruptions in Brentwood Park shortly after the work was completed.
However, residents in the area are still complaining that they have no water.

Brentwood Park has been experiencing water pressure problems for months.
Du Plessis has asked Ekurhuleni to investigate how complexes in Brentwood Park were signed off if there was knowledge of the low water pressure problems in the suburb.
The municipality said further information on the lack of water will be supplied as soon as it becomes availabl
