Classical singer Tobi Jooste serenaded Sarie Klub
Ladies let their hair down at monthly meeting
Women from the Sarie Klub met at the Lakeview Boutique Hotel in Farrarmere on March 27.
The club is made up of about 50 women who get together once a month.
According to committee member Susan Noppe, the club has been around for about 48 years.
Their guest of honour was Tobi Jooste, a classical singer who treated the women to songs from his new DVD called Die Katedraal.
Jooste said his latest offering is made up of 18 gospel songs, including songs like How Great Thou Art.
“That was my grandmother’s favourite song. She was the one who introduced me to music,” he said.
