It is often said there’s nothing quite like the music from the ’80s and Paul Smith is helping locals keep the notion alive.
Paul’s ’80s show that first aired on Caxton Radio now has its own time-slot at Perk Coffee and Eatery in Lakefield with the man himself behind the deck every Saturday.

Owner of Perk Eve Kouvdis has more than obliged to Paul’s musical takeover at the café.
“I love ’80s music, in fact, a lot of people do,” said Kouvdis.
“There was a huge demand for the music and we have a lovely open space that can accommodate individuals and families to come and enjoy the moment.”
Kouvdis explained Paul would be entertaining her guests well into December and the turnouts have already been what she expected and more.
And in Paul’s words: “I’ll be there for you, playing some funky music. You should be so lucky, you might even find love in the first degree by bumping into a waitress in a cocktail bar…”
Join him at Perk from 6.30pm until late to get in on what you’ve been missing all along.
